Michelle received her J.D. from Samford University`s Cumberland School of Law in 2012. While in Cumberland, Michelle was a member of the Trials Committee. She has also been a teaching assistant to the Director of the Legal Skills and Legal Research Program. After her 2L year, Michelle worked as a law clerk for the Attorney General`s Office of Tennessee`s 20th Judicial District. After law school, Michelle practiced family law as an attorney at McCarter & Beauchamp, PLLC. She began her career in legal recruitment in 2014 as an Admissions Coordinator at Belmont University School of Law. Michelle joined Waller in the summer of 2016. Michelle Parsons implements and manages Waller`s partner recruitment and hiring activities in all practice areas across the firm`s five offices. Michelle`s primary focus is on recruiting entry-level employees and managing the company`s associate summer program. Her experience as an attorney and as an admissions officer at Law School provides Michelle with a unique first-hand insight into the individual qualities required for professional development and performance at Waller.
